Bacolod is known as "The City of Smiles" where they celebrate the Maskkara Festival during October.
From Iloilo going to Bacolod it is just a Ferry away. The most convenient way is via Fast Craft like Supercat and Weesam Express that would take 45 minutes to 1 hour.
If your one of those who love to travel, explore more and save a bit on your trip try the one that would take long travel period. Take Ro-Ro (roll on, roll off) via Dumangas Port.
First you are going to ride a van at Lapaz Baldoza Terminal which will cost you around P35. At the Dumangas Terminal, tricycles are waiting to bring you to the Port itself at around P20.
At the port there were many sea vessels traveling Iloilo - Bacolod and vice versa every 2 hours so you won't wait any longer and the travel will take around 2 hours. The fare is around P60-P80 depending on the company. You will only spend a total of around P100-P130, 3 times cheaper that fast craft vehicles.
Hope this Post can help you guys!
Enjoy and See you all in Bacolod! :)
